Rob has professional experience in television and radio as a producer, programmer, and on-air "talent." He received a Ph.D. from the University of Iowa (1985). Dr. Bellamy has authored or co-authored three books and numerous articles and chapters in such publications as MediaSport, Journal of Broadcasting & Electronic Media, Center Ice, and Journal of Communication. He is a founding editorial board member of Communication & Sport and NINE: A Journal of Baseball History & Culture and has served on the editorial board of the Journal of Sport and Social Issues.
