Richard Sandbrook

I spent 40 years teaching and conducting research on the political economy of international development, with special reference to Africa. I have written and edited 13 books and authored about 60 scholarly articles in journals and edited books. I am a fellow of the RSC. My interests have shifted, during the past eight years, to the politics of halting or limiting climate change and species extinction. I run the Progressive 'Futures blog, which deals heavily with climate issues.
