I am an Environmental Research Fellow at the Sustainability Research Institute (SRI) at the University of East London (UEL). My interests are plastic pollution in freshwater and marine environments, with a particular focus on microplastics and nanoplastics

I completed my PhD in 2023 on microplastic abundance and characteristics in the tidal River Thames. Previous to that I did a masters in marine science and a project on microplastic abundance within Cnidaria and Ctenophores within the North Sea.

I have a strong interest in plastic pollution especially within marine and freshwater environments with research papers published within the area.
