Rhonda Winegar, PhD, DNP, FNP-BC, CCRN, CPN. Dr. Rhonda Winegar began her nursing career with an Associate Degree of Nursing in 1991 from Redlands Community College and she has continued to advance her nursing education by earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northwestern Oklahoma State University, a Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) from Texas A&M, Corpus Christi, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice and PhD in Nursing from Saint Louis University. Her administrative and teaching experience spans over 10 years and includes prelicensure as well as graduate level education. She has worked as a family nurse practitioner for over 20 years, primarily in neurology and behavioral health. Dr. Winegar has been very active in many nursing organizations to include serving as a member of the Executive Board of the Texas Nurses Association. She enjoys traveling, camping, and exploring Texas with her husband on their Harley Davidson motorcycle.
