Rhea Desai

Dr. Rhea Desai is an H.G Thode Post Doctoral Fellow & a McCall MacBain Teaching and Leadership Program Fellow in the Department of Biology focusing on the environmental and social impact of nuclear projects in Canada. Dr. Desai has a deep passion for creating accessible education for young learners and making nuclear science engaging and accessible to all communities. She understands the importance of working alongside Indigenous communities on projects and research conducted on their traditional lands.
