- Senior Research Scientist, Boston College
I am an ionospheric and space plasma physicist working at Boston College. My main area of research is the study of ionospheric and space plasma phenomena using a variety of ground-based and satellite-borne diagnostic instruments. These phenomena include traveling ionospheric disturbances (TIDs), acoustic-gravity waves (AGWs), and equatorial plasma bubbles (EPBs). Useful instruments for studying these phenomena include ionosondes, ground-based GPS receiver network, incoherent scatter radars, and various satellite missions.
In addition to research, I also teach an upper-class space weather course at Boston College (EESC 3300 - Space Weather and Consequences).
