Resti Salmayenti

Resti Salmayenti is a PhD researcher at the University of Leeds, UK, studying the degradation and restoration of tropical peatlands in Indonesia, with a focus on peat fire occurrence and land surface dynamics under varying climate conditions.

Her research combines remote sensing, fieldwork, and modelling, and builds on prior experience working on Indonesian peatland ecosystem accounting, climate, and environmental analysis.

She is a lecturer on study leave from IPB University, Indonesia.
