Dr Renée Landell is a literary and cultural scholar, writer and public speaker specialising in Caribbean literature, Black studies, decolonial thought and environmental humanities. Renée has presented at universities including Cambridge, Oxford, Manchester and Royal Holloway, and has published in Routledge, Bloomsbury, the Journal of West Indian Literature, Oxford University Press, and more. She currently manages 'Mapping Black London', a digital humanities project recovering Black presence across London’s history, leading its 'Multiracial Pasts, Equitable Futures' phase, at Northeastern University London. She has appeared on the BBC, CBC, and Al Jazeera and features in the BBC Two documentary, 'David Harewood on Blackface'. She is represented by Andrew Nurnberg Associates (literary agency).
