Dr Regina Souter is a pracademic interested in water security, particularly linking catchment-level water security with community level water management & WASH (water supply, sanitation and hygiene) issues. Regina leads and participates in applied research projects that are transdisciplinary and collaborative, in particular with the universities, governments and civil society partners in the places of study. These are designed to support improved policy and practice relating to WASH, water governance, water resource management, behaviour change, community engagement and development. Regina teaches and supervises WASH students in the International WaterCentre's Master of Integrated Water Management.
As the Director of the International WaterCentre, Regina works with the IWC team, on research, engagement and training and education initiatives, to change the way people think and act about water.
