Regina Sexton is a food and culinary historian and lecturer at University College Cork. She is Programme Manager of the MA and Postgraduate Diploma in Food Studies and Irish Foodways. Currently, she is also working as a researcher and co-ordinator on the Horizon Europe-funded project RELISH (Reframing European Gastronomy Legacy through Innovation Sustainability and Heritage).
Research interests: Food and culinary history, food studies, food preservation, food and identity, 'traditional' food cultures, constructed and 'invented' food traditions
