Regina Serpa is a housing researcher and an RTPI chartered planner. She is currently a lecturer in housing at the University of Stirling and associate of Indigo House Group. Previously, she was a Primary Investigator on a comparative, three-country study of migrant homelessness - an ESRC funded postdoctoral research collaboration with Leiden Law School and the University of Stirling. Regina obtained her Doctorate (PhD) degree in Urban Studies in 2019 from Heriot-Watt University; and has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Housing Studies in 2011 from the University of Stirling and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) degree in 2009 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Regina is author of the book 'Migrant Homelessness and the Crimmigration Control System' (2023) Routledge.
