Rebeccah Sokol, PhD, MSPH, is a public health and social work scholar who studies youth safety and well-being. She is an assistant professor at the University of Michigan School of Social Work and co-director of the Training and Education Core at the Institute for Firearm Injury Prevention. Dr. Sokol's research program is centered around identifying effective strategies to promote youth safety, with a particular focus on preventing child maltreatment, youth violence involvement, and firearm injury.
