I am a legal narratologist, with particular research interests in the story scripts, dynamics and characterisations of socio-legal, historical and cultural narratives which frame and underpin legislation. Specifically, I focus on the power of legal storytelling, and how narrative theory can be used to examine the development of master and counter narratives regarding both victim-survivors and perpetrators of domestic abuse.
