Rebecca Merkley has a DPhil in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford and an EdM from Harvard Graduate School of Education. She studies how kids learn foundational mathematical skills and how parents and educators can support their development as competent and confident learners. Her transdisciplinary research integrates developmental psychology, cognitive neuroscience, and education research. She collaborates with international researchers, educators, and non-profit organisations to build stronger connections between developmental science and policy and practice in education.
