Raúl Pérez Caballero

Licenciado en Veterinaria (2012) y Doctor en Biociencias y Ciencias Agroalimentarias con Mención Internacional (2018) por la Universidad de Córdoba. Profesor e investigador en el ámbito de la Parasitología y las Enfermedades Parasitarias. Mi investigación se ha centrado en el estudio de la respuesta inmunitaria frente a parásitos de interés veterinario y humano, incluyendo la fasciolosis ovina causada por Fasciola hepatica (UCO) y la malaria por Plasmodium falciparum en población infantil de Mali (NIH, Maryland, EEUU). Más recientemente, he trabajado en el análisis de la respuesta inmunitaria mediada por células T en pacientes con COVID-19 y en la infección por el virus del Nilo Occidental (IrsiCaixa, Barcelona). He desarrollado mi labor docente en la Facultad Veterinaria de la Universidad de Córdoba y, actualmente, en la Universidad de León.
