teach at the departments of Sociology and Anthropology and Labor Studies, Tel Aviv University. I study various aspects of global corporate capitalism and global governance, especially the historical rise and global spread of corporate social responsibility since the mid-20th-century, across the USA, UK, Germany, Venezuela, the Philippines, Israel, and the transnational level. Recently I have focused attention on global environmental politics, particularly the role of transnational business elite networks and of large financial institutions in shaping climate governance.
