Rafael Weber Hoss

I am a PhD candidate in Intelligence Technologies and Digital Design at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, Brazil, currently conducting research as a visiting scholar at Cardiff Metropolitan University, Wales. My work explores the intersection of neurotechnologies, mental privacy, and ethical governance, focusing on the implications of brain-computer interfaces for cognitive autonomy and trust in emerging technologies. I am also a licensed lawyer in Brazil with expertise in civil and international law, which complements my interdisciplinary approach to addressing the ethical and regulatory challenges posed by advanced technologies. I am committed to fostering critical dialogue on human rights, privacy, and the evolving relationship between humans and machines.
