Rachel Moseley graduated from Warwick with a BA in Film and Literature, went to UEA to study for an MA in Film Studies, came back to Warwick for PhD…and stayed! She is currently a Professor of Film and Television Studies, and the Vice Provost and Chair of the Faculty of Arts, University of Warwick.

She has written on Audrey Hepburn, edited collections on film stardom and fashion and on feminism and popular culture, and written about teen television drama in Britain and the USA. Her book 'HandMade Television: Stop-Frame Television for Children in Britain, 1961-1975' was published with Palgrave in 2016, and her most recent book, ‘Picturing Cornwall’ (University of Exeter Press, 2018) explored the representation of Cornwall in film and television, drawing upon long standing interests in art history, region and representation.

She is currently working on two projects, the first with Dr Gemma Goodman, on sustainable screen production in Cornwall, and the second on the 1970s daytime television drama ‘Crown Court’.
