Rachel A. Davis, MD is Professor of Psychiatry with a secondary appointment in Neurosurgery at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus School of Medicine, where she serves as Division Head for Adult Psychiatry and Vice Chair for Adult Clinical Strategy. She is Director of Interventional Psychiatry, Co-Director of the OCD Surgical Program (with Dr. Steven Ojemann, Neurosurgery), and Medical Director of the OCD Program.

Dr. Davis specializes in Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) for refractory, severe OCD, and CU Anschutz/UCHealth is one of just a few academic centers in the world providing this treatment. Her team has written and published about the "real-world" experience of their patients who also have other mental health conditions who undergo DBS surgery for OCD. She is interested in the use of DBS for other severe and refractory psychiatric illnesses and is Principal Investigator on an Investigational Device Exemption pilot study of DBS in Schizophrenia.
