Rachael Eastham

(She/her)

I am a Lecturer in Young People's Health Inequalities with specialism in gender, sexualities and youth, specifically in the topic areas of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and mental health.

I am primarily a qualitative researcher interested in sexualities, gender and sexual health including sexual pleasure.

I value the use of creative and participatory methods in research, particularly visual methods and historical approaches including the use of life histories and archival research.

I am also active in arts based and community collaborations and keen to apply research -knowledge and practices- in ways that can support grassroots creative and social support for health.
