I am a postdoctoral associate at the Alliance for a Sustainable Future, George Washington University. My research focuses on environmental and climate change communication, especially climate-health communication in the Global North and South. My PhD, undertaken at the School of Communications, Dublin City University, examines media coverage of extreme weather events (floods and heatwaves), environmental impact events (smog) in Pakistan, and various structural barriers for environmental reporters in the Global South.
