Qurrat Ul Ain

(She/Her)

I am a Vancouver-based science journalist, pharmacist, and bioengineer with a PhD in Bioengineering. My work sits at the intersection of science, health, and society, with a focus on translating complex biomedical research into clear, engaging stories for the public. Before moving into journalism, I worked in academic research and scientific communication, where I developed expertise in nanomedicine, drug development, and health policy. This background shapes my reporting, allowing me to critically examine emerging health issues, from infectious disease outbreaks to gaps in women’s health research, through both scientific and human lenses.
