I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Consumer Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My research broadly investigates vulnerable populations engagement in market work and how public policy impacts this. Current projects include an ethnographic investigation of sex workers precarious labor experiences in the wake of a potentially harmful 2018 federal legislative changes. Other recent projects include studying fatherhood policies and their impact on family-level outcomes of interest.
