In spite the tireless efforts of researchers and unabated technological advancement to unravel novel approaches to elevate cancer therapy in health care services, cancer is still a mystery. Nonetheless, the increasing availability of data, and the improved understanding of system-level interactions in biological milieu via computational methods has been promising in emerging cancer research and have improved experimental results immensely. Realizing this, I had interest in doing research at the interface of computational and cutting-edge wet lab experiments with the ultimate goal of developing therapeutics which could modulate cancer cell signaling and be applied for the treatment of patients that battles against various cancers.
