Doctora en Filosofía y Ciencias de la Educación (Pedagogía) por la Universidad de Murcia y Máster en Orientación Familiar por la Universidad Pontifica de Salamanca. En su actividad profesional cuenta con 36 años de experiencia profesional docente e investigadora en métodos de investigación educativa. Ha investigado sobre ansiedad evaluativa y rendimiento; metodologías innovadoras en educación; aprendizaje cooperativo; aprendizaje de una segunda lengua; errores en libros de texto de matemáticas; emociones y rendimiento matemático; participación familiar; estilos de aprendizaje; espacios educativos (Maker, Shine, aulas transdisciplinarias); aprendizaje social y emocional; inteligencia emocional, bienestar subjetivo; creatividad, pensamiento científico creativo, emprendimiento, apertura mental, y pensamiento crítico como habilidades personales, académicas y profesionales, diferencias individuales y su relación con el rendimiento, análisis comparativo de currículo nacional/internacional entre otras. En la actualidad, cuenta con tres sexenios CNEAI de investigación y es catedrática de la Facultad de Educación de la Universidad Camilo José Cela de Madrid y profesora Titular por ANECA.

Presentación Ángeles Caballero-García holds a PhD in Philosophy and Educational Sciences (Pedagogy), awarded the Extraordinary Doctoral Prize by the University of Murcia, and a Master’s Degree in Family Guidance from the Pontifical University of Salamanca. She has 36 years of professional experience in teaching and research, specialising in research methods (MIDE) and educational innovation.
Her work has explored learning strategies and styles, test anxiety and academic performance, educational innovation (digital whiteboards and textbooks), cooperative learning, second language acquisition, errors in textbooks and mathematical achievement (Spain vs. Singapore), achievement in emotions and mathematics (positive education), learning spaces, makerspaces, family engagement, social and emotional learning, emotional intelligence, creativity and subjective well being, creative science thinking, competence based learning in higher education (entrepreneurship, open mindedness, resilience, critical thinking and leadership as personal, academic and professional skills), individual differences and their relationship with performance, family–school collaboration, and artificial intelligence as an educational resource, as well as comparative analyses of national and international curricula, among other topics.
She is currently a Full Professor (Catedrática) in the Faculty of Education at Camilo José Cela University, a tenured lecturer accredited by ANECA, with three active research periods (CNEAI sexenios). She is the principal investigator of the ASE Research Group (Social and Emotional Learning) and collaborates with external research groups such as IMECA (University of Alcalá) and Compartimos Educación (University of Murcia).
