I am a freelance science journalist and independent researcher in digital media based in Ottawa, Canada.

I hold an MA in Digital Innovation in Journalism Studies from Concordia University and a BSc in Pure Mathematics from Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran. My work focuses on the intersection of science, technology, and society — exploring how digital infrastructures, media ecosystems, and access to information shape public understanding of science in times of crisis.

I write regularly in both English and Farsi on science, technology, and digital policy for international and Persian-language audiences.
