Pinar Uysal-Onganer

Dr Pinar Uysal-Onganer is Professor of Cellular and Molecular Biology and Head of the Cancer Mechanisms Research Group at the University of Westminster, London. Her research focuses on the cellular and molecular mechanisms that drive cancer progression and metastasis, with particular emphasis on Wnt signalling, microRNA regulation, and cancer stem cell biology. She leads international collaborations aimed at translating molecular discoveries into improved diagnostic, prognostic, and therapeutic approaches. She is a member of the Royal Society of Medicine, the American Chemical Society, and the European Association for Cancer Research, and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
