Pilar Olivares Carrillo

Dr. Pilar Olivares-Carrillo has a Master’s Degree in Mathematics Teacher Training and a PhD in Chemical Engineering. She is currently working as a lecturer in the Department of Didactics of Mathematics at the University of Murcia. Her main areas of research are related to the history of education, the epistemological approach in didactics of mathematics and teacher training. In terms of teaching, she has taught subjects on Didactics of Mathematics in the degrees of Early Childhood Education and of Primary Education in the University of Murcia. In addition, since 2015 she has been teaching in English, within the bilingual project of the University of Murcia.
