Phyllis Ohene-Agyei

Dr Ohene-Agyei completed her medical degree with honors at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana, and has further training in public health from the UK and France.
She has significant professional experience working with healthcare institutions, non-governmental organizations, and research institutions to promote maternal and child health outcomes.

Phyllis is currently a doctoral fellow at the Liggins Institute, University of Auckland under the supervision of Distinguished Professor Jane Harding and Professor Caroline Crowther researching the effects of gestational diabetes mellitus management on maternal health and well-being.

Her research interest revolves around maternal and child health, public health nutrition, and environmental health.
