Having just submitted my PhD thesis for examination within QUT’s Digital Media Research Centre, my research focuses on journalism practice and discourse and considers how journalists represent reality. While my PhD has evaluated how journalists engage with misinformation claims, my ADM+S work considers what authenticity means in journalism and how generative AI relates to journalistic authenticity, witnessing, and misinformation.
