Philipp Ager is an Associate Professor in the Department of Business and Economics at the University of Southern Denmark, where he is a member of the Historical Economics and Development Group. His primary research interests are in economic history, demography, economic growth and development. Philipp obtained his Ph.D. in Economics cum laude from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in 2013.
