Phil is plant biologist passionate about discovering solutions for agricultural problems. He is co-lead for Next Generation Crops at La Trobe Institute of Sustainable Agriculture and Food and a Chief Investigator in the ARC Centre of Excellence in Plants for Space. His focus is the role of plant hormones in crop architecture, stress response, and root microbe symbiosis.
