Phelokazi Mkungeka

I am an interdisciplinary researcher with a background in Sociology, specialising in artificial intelligence and health misinformation in digital environments. I currently serve as an Assistant Researcher at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Digital Futures (ICDF) and am a PhD candidate in Development Studies at the University of the Free State. My work focuses on health infodemics, knowledge mapping, and the social dynamics of digital information ecosystems. I have contributed to several research projects in this area and have published on related topics.
