Perrie Ballantyne

Perrie Ballantyne is a strategic leader and facilitator of social innovation programs and initiatives. She's spent the past 20 years working with leading social innovation agencies and alongside diverse partners to tackle social challenges, develop new solutions and influence change at scale.

Bringing deep expertise in collaborative and participatory practices, Perrie supports community creativity, agency and influence in change efforts. She works across varied contexts where innovation and systemic change is needed, most often with education, health and social care systems.

Based in the UK for over 15 years, she held senior roles at Innovation Unit, ThePublicOffice, Save the Children and Nesta (the UK's innovation foundation). Returning to Australia, she established a new local team for Innovation Unit (now ThirdStory) and is working alongside public and philanthropic institutions to enhance community and cross-sector collaboration for social innovation.
