I hold a Ph.D. in Political Science and am a postdoctoral researcher at the Brazilian Center of Analysis and Planning (Cebrap), where I conduct a FAPESP-funded research project on the role of credit rating agencies in the context of the climate crisis. I am the author of "Political Risk and the Politics of Risk: Credit Rating Agencies and the Political Process in Brazil and Argentina" (Palgrave Macmillan, 2025), and have also authored and co-authored articles in peer-reviewed journals as well as non-academic and policy-oriented publications.

My academic and professional interests focus on green finance, sustainable development, and the political economy of finance, with a particular emphasis on Latin America.

I previously served as a member of the Executive Secretariat of the G20 Taskforce on a Global Mobilization Against Climate Change, launched by the Brazilian government and co-chaired by Mariana Mazzucato and Vera Songwe, contributing to the acclaimed report "A Green and Just Planet". I have also worked as a bioeconomy finance consultant for the Amazon Concertation Network, co-authoring the report "Bioeconomy Financing Ecosystem in the Legal Amazon", which has been informing key debates on sustainable development in the Amazon in international forums.
