Ms Pui Ting (Pearl) Wong is an Accredited Practising Dietitian and emerging educator with over eight years of experience delivering nutrition education across clinical, community and private practice settings, including two years as a course coordinator at The University of Queensland. She brings a deep understanding of contemporary dietetics practice and a commitment to translating professional knowledge into authentic, engaging learning experiences that prepare students for practice. Her teaching philosophy is grounded in experiential learning, supporting students to think critically, collaborate effectively and apply nutrition knowledge to real-world health challenges. Pearl's research focuses on culinary nutrition education and adolescent psychosocial wellbeing, with broader interests in mental health, food security and interprofessional collaboration. She applies mixed-methods approaches to investigate complex health challenges and translate evidence into practical, real-world interventions. Since 2018, she has secured a range of competitive internal and external research grants and scholarships.

Pearl has collaborated with organisations including the American Diabetes Association, Australian Institute of Food Science and Technology, Brisbane Lions, Dietitians Australia, Hong Kong Community Dietitians Association and Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority.
