Payam Saeedi

Payam Saeedi received his M.S. degree in sustainable systems from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), Rochester, NY, USA, in 2024, where he is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in sustainability. He is also an Associate Data Scientist with Sony PlayStation. With backgrounds in Industrial Engineering and Mathematics, his research interests include causal inference, decision analysis under uncertainty, heuristics and biases in predictive systems, and sustainable consumer behavior modeling. His current work, supported by the National Science Foundation, focuses on interpretive simulation of consumer behavior at the end-of-current-use of electronic and how behavioral nudges can increase the likelihood of more sustainable dispositions.
