Paul is a PhD candidate at Curtin University. Paul returned to academia in 2023 after spending 33 years in the banking industry in the UK, Ireland and Australia. Paul had senior roles in change management, marketing and product management, most recently as General Manager, Products & Pricing and Chief Customer Officer at Bankwest in Western Australia. His interests lie in marketing, management and housing.

Paul is also the Chairman of the WADSIH (WA Data Science and Innovation Hub) Advisory Board and is a Board Director of Essential Personnel. He has previously sat on the Advisory Board of BCEC (Bankwest Curtin Economics Centre), Diabetes WA and Volunteer Taskforce.
