- Assistant professor, Trent University
I am an archaeological scientist specializing in the use of chemical techniques to study biological remains, especially bones and teeth. My research uses chemical analyses (especially stable isotope analysis) to study how environments have changed over the last ten thousand years. Currently my research focuses on the marine environments of the Arctic and the coastal deserts of Peru and Chile. I am a Canada Research Chair and Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at Trent University.
