- Sr. Research Assistant, Morning Star Lodge, University of Saskatchewan
After completing an Honours BSc. at McMaster University, I pursued a masters of public health at the University of Victoria. The move towards public health was largely inspired by the persisting health inequities experienced by the Indigenous Peoples of Canada. Therefore, it was logical to pursue a specialization in Indigenous People's health. After completing my masters, I began working at Morning Star Lodge where community self-determination is given top priority.
