Patrick Nolen joined the department after finishing his studies at Cornell University. His research interests focus on issues facing developing countries: measuring unemployment and poverty; identity; and technology's impact on poverty, growth and inequality. Patrick also has been conducting research in behavioural and experimental economics and hopes to expand his research agenda in these areas.
