Nearly four years on from the start of the pandemic, there has been no independent review of the role the intelligence agencies played during the crisis.

Over the years Australia has been quick to point the finger at China – most recently in relation to DJI drones. Instead, we should look closely at our own tech security policies.
Without a review of what went wrong with intelligence gathering and analysis during the pandemic, we’re missing a golden opportunity to improve our intelligence agencies.
