Oral Robinson, Ph.D, is a lecturer and honour chair in the Department of Sociology at the University of British Columbia. I have over 20 publications in leading international journals and peer-reviewed books. In addition, I author of Migration, Social Identities and Regionalism in the Caribbean (Palgrave MacMillan) and co-author of Practicing and Presenting Social Research (Pressbooks). I am the winner of the prestigious Killam Teaching Prize (2022) and UBC’s Open Education Champion award (2022). My teaching includes Research Methods, Race and Ethnic Inequality, Development & Underdevelopment, Survey Methods and Sociology of Families.
