Omar Hammoud Gallego

Omar Hammoud-Gallego is a political and social data scientist, currently Assistant Professor in Public Policy at the School of Government and International Affairs at Durham University. Prior to joining Durham, he was a Fellow in Political Science and Public Policy at the LSE School of Public Policy.

His research focuses on migration and refugee policies, as well as on the challenges to democratic legitimacy worldwide. He holds a PhD from the Department of Government at the LSE.
