I’m Associate Professor of Political Science at Te Whare Wānanga o Waikato – the University of Waikato, Aotearoa New Zealand.

I specialise in collective memory and environmental communication, and the intersection between the two. While my research mainly applies narrative frameworks and methods for visual analysis, I'm also interested in humour as a communicative resource.
