Oliver Alfred Guidetti

I am an AI–human teaming expert, with a background in mathematics and an industrial PhD in psychology. My work examines how people collaborate with artificial intelligence in high-stakes, cognitively demanding environments, particularly within cybersecurity operations and other settings in which vigilance and rapid judgement are critical. I use psychophysiological measures such as GSR, eye-tracking, pupilometry, and FNIRS to study how cognitive load, trust, and performance shift when AI systems enter the decision loop. Alongside this, I investigate the psychological consequences of AI in everyday digital behaviour, including artificial relationships, online dating, and digital mental health. Across these domains I develop experimental systems and AI-enabled assessment tools to understand how AI can strengthen, disrupt, or reshape human decision-making and behaviour.
