Dr. Ola G. El-Taliawi is an Assistant Professor of Public Administration and Policy Science at the University of Twente, The Netherlands. She is the author of "The Politics of Refugee Policy in the Global South" (McGill-Queens University Press, 2024).

She holds a Ph.D. from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore (2019) and a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration from the American University in Cairo (2010). Her work focuses on comparative public policy and administration, refugee governance, and gender.
