With over 25 years of experience in English language and literature, and a PhD in Education, I have developed a comprehensive academic and pedagogical profile within higher education, encompassing certified language courses such as ESOL, German, Academic English, English Language Practice, Comparative Lexicology, and Translation Strategies. Currently, I teach Academic English to MA students at the School of English, University of Leeds, where I also contribute to curriculum development, lectures, and workshop delivery. My academic qualifications are further reflected in my leadership of the Ukrainian Discovery module within the School of Languages, Cultures and Societies, which promotes cross-cultural engagement and linguistic awareness.

My current research, funded by the British Academy under the "Researchers at Risk" fellowship, investigates the digitalization of higher education, with a particular focus on online pedagogy in language instruction. This research—presented at international conferences in London, Cambridge, and Stockholm—bridges the fields of philology and pedagogy, aiming to advance innovative teaching practices.

As part of this interdisciplinary approach, I also lead a COIL project titled Pride, Prejudice, and Perspectives: A Cross-Cultural Exploration of Literary Adaptations, which examines Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice through English-Ukrainian collaboration, enriching students’ literary and cultural literacy in the digital age.
