Dr. Nomalanga Mashinini is a Senior Lecturer in Cyber Law and the founder and lead of the Wits Image Rights Engagement (WiRE) at the University of Witwatersrand. Her research focuses on global image rights protection, examining the intersection of AI, social media regulation, and identity misuse.
