Nicole Amoyal Pensak PhD, PMH-C

Dr. Pensak received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from University of Rhode Island and completed her APA accredited internship and specialty training in behavioral medicine at Yale School of Medicine. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/ Harvard Medical School in psychiatric oncology and an NIH T32 fellowship at the University of Colorado, Anschutz Medical Center in Aging and Palliative Care and received a Career Development Award from the National Center for Palliative Care. Prior academic appointments include Assistant Professor in School of Medicine at UC Anschutz, Assistant Scientist at Hackensack University Medical Center, and Director of Psycho-Oncology at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. As a Harvard and Yale-trained Clinical Psychologist, Dr. Pensak provides therapy that is empirically-based treatment that is uniquely tailored to meet the needs of each client.

Dr. Nicole Pensak is the Author of RATTLED, How to Calm New Mom Anxiety with the Power of the Postpartum Brain. RATTLED was awarded Best Book for Parents by Zibby Owens, featured on Reese Witherspoon's Hello Sunshine and The Bright Side Podcast, named by Audible as Most Anticipated Reads 2025 in Well-Being, and featured in Maria Shriver's The Sunday Paper, NBC News, and Katie Couric. Dr. Pensak is a TEDx Speaker and also serves on the Expert Review Board of Parents Magazine.
